Philosophical football is a philosophical debate, with the rules of a football game.

Each tournament is named after a muse, who is responsible for selecting topics, which are drawn at random before each match.
There are goals ( a point well made) fouls (an aggressive attack on the opponent ), off-sides (going off topic) and a photo finish machine ( AKA "The Truth Machine") .
The match report follows each game, in the form of a poem (written during the match, by the match poet.
There is also a match illustration, created during the game by the match artist.

Doors open at 21:15 for betting, and all and all!
